Inc. Ranks WBD One of America’s Fastest-growing Private Companies
WBD joins elite list of national businesses demonstrating exceptional growth in a three-year period
WASHINGTON – Washington Business Dynamics (WBD) is pleased to announce that it has ranked 51st on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Inc. also unveiled WBD as the third fastest-growing firm in Washington, D.C. and sixth fastest-growing among national government service companies.
Inc. 5000 examines an important segment in the American economy: independent entrepreneurs. Rankings are determined based on revenue growth over a three-year period. Notable companies such as Dell, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Yelp have each received early attention as members of this esteemed list.
“We are incredibly honored to be ranked among such a high-caliber, diverse group of companies from across the nation,” said Scott Caldwell, President and Co-Founder of WBD. “While our client list continues to expand, I am most proud of our team for making WBD what it is today. I look forward to seeing what we achieve together next.”
During a stretch when the economy grew 6.7 percent, WBD achieved a growth rate of more than 5,000 percent in three years. Its current client list spans across the public sector to include, Department of Treasury, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Defense Health Agency and more.
“The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk-taking and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”
WBD and fellow awardees will be honored at the annual Inc. 5000 event in San Antonio, TX this October. Previous speakers include some of the greatest entrepreneurs of this generations, such as former Ford president Alan Mullaly and Gravity Payments’ founder Dan Price. WBD will also be featured with the top 500 companies in the September 2018 issue of Inc.
