WBD Awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement with F-35 Joint Program Office
WBD Expands Strategic Advisory Services in the Department of Defense
The Naval Air Systems Command Joint Program Office (JPO) has awarded Washington Business Dynamics (WBD) a coveted spot on its new F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter blanket purchase agreement for acquisition, information technology, organizational management and supply chain and logistic support services.
The JPO ensures that our military’s aircraft can meet the demands of the Air Force, Army, Marines and partner countries. They achieve this mission in part by equipping aircraft systems with the latest technologies in autonomic logistics, avionics and propulsion systems. “
The institutional knowledge that WBD has gained from our current Department of Defense and information technology contracts will be crucial to our success with the F-35 Joint Program Office,” said WBD President Scott Caldwell. “We look forward to advancing national security in partnership with the F-35 Joint Program Office.”
The contract will add to WBD’s contracts with the Department of Defense, including the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) and the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAA).
“The F-35 program is more than a program; it is truly a global enterprise built upon a broad spectrum of stakeholders joined together by a common goal — to support the warfighter with dominating capabilities,” wrote Vice Adm. Mat Winter, the former Program Executive Officer for the F-35 Program.
With a proven track record in enterprise planning, program operations and budget analysis, the JPO blanket purchase agreement solidifies WBD as an essential partner for the Department of Defense.
