WBD Employee Spotlight: Jeff Rosenberg
January 22, 2021
Meet Jeff Rosenberg, a WBD Associate who joined the firm in August. In a short amount of time, Jeff has acclimated to WBD’s remote work environment and seized opportunities to get involved with high-impact initiatives. Primarily, Jeff provides financial and cost modeling support to a Department of Defense (DoD) client.
“On a day to day basis, I work with subject matter experts to inform the development of data models,” he says. “Our analysis helps guide senior leadership decisions around service rates and price determinations.”
Jeff also works on WBD’s state and local consulting team, assisting with procurement, financial advisory, and disaster response services around the country. “WBD has a recognized reputation in the federal space for helping clients make better decisions,” he says, “…and I’m excited to be bringing WBD’s acquisition and financial planning methods to the branches of government that need them most as our country heals from this pandemic.”
Jeff is also training extensively in business development and effective proposal writing techniques. WBD’s founding partners encourage every employee to contribute to efforts that grow the firm, and in his first few months, Jeff has expanded his skillset significantly by partaking in these efforts.
Jeff returned to his native city of Washington, D.C. following his graduation from Colby College, where he received a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies. Outside of the workplace, Jeff plays soccer for Yinz United, a local amateur soccer club, and is an avid piano player. He is a loyal fan of the Capitals, Nationals, Wizards, and yes, even the Washington Football Team.
Out of a crowd of competitive consulting firms in the D.C. area, Jeff said that WBD stood out to him; “It is uniquely positioned in both the federal and international development arenas.” He also said, “The firm’s impressive array of talent and its diverse portfolio of client engagements put it at the very top of my wish list. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of such an agile and innovative group.”
Despite having yet to meet many of his colleagues in person, Jeff has crafted meaningful relationships and has successfully collaborated with his teammates on assignments through Microsoft Teams and Slack. “I’m continuously impressed by the cohesive team aura that WBD is able to create within virtual work environments,” he says. “The firm’s ability to continue to grow and exceed client’s expectations remotely is a true testament to the quality of WBD’s employees.”
At WBD, our people make us great.
